Trans humanism in 2025 continues to evolve as a movement focused on enhancing human capabilities through advanced technologies. The concept of a ‘Triple S’ civilization, encompassing super intelligence, super longevity, and super happiness, remains a central theme. Various organizations and initiatives are actively promoting trans-humanist ideas, such as the Trans-humanist Party USA and the Trans-humanist Party UK, which advocate for policies supporting human enhancement technologies.
The Posthuman Studies Hub is organizing a conference on 20-21 June 2025, focusing on the ethics of play and experimentation in the context of post-human and trans-humanist studies. The conference aims to explore new dimensions of play, identity, and creativity, with the best papers to be published in an essay collection.
Humanity+, formerly the World Trans-humanist Association, continues to promote the ethical use of technologies to improve the human condition. The organization emphasizes equal access to human enhancement technologies across classes and borders. In 2025, Humanity+ rejects anthropocentrism and advocates for a more inclusive approach to technological advancement.
The Darkside of AI article highlights concerns about the potential risks of trans-humanism, particularly the integration of humans with artificial intelligence. It discusses the views of critics like Joe Allen, who warn about the possible consequences of merging human and machine, including the extinction of humanity or a technological dystopia.
Post-humanism and trans-humanism are often discussed together, with trans-humanism focusing on transcending human biological and intellectual limitations through technology. The movement envisions a future where humans can achieve super intelligence, extended lifespans, and enhanced physical abilities.
In Africa, the TransVision Abidjan 2025 conference is exploring the potential of trans-humanism to address global challenges such as poverty and underdevelopment. The conference aims to critically analyze how trans-humanism can contribute to development in Africa.
Upon searching trans-humanism this was the curated result. A few points to note are the unrealistic expectations those promoting trans-humanism regarding “super” happiness, intelligence, longevity. It bears repeating every human is immortal so it is impossible to attain this aspect of trans-humanism as mankind is immortal already upon death the exclusive distinction is eternity in heaven or hell.
The human brain is a super computer and attempting to place a chip, neuro lace, or some other modality to connect one’s mind to the internet would be catastrophic and is unnecessary. Gone would be the excitement of learning, pursuit of knowledge and mastering of skill. Proponents of such linking claim we who do not desire to do so will “fall behind,” or our offspring will be disadvantaged both of which are false.
We have known for decades that new skills or learning new material develops new synaptic pathways, for example, an Alzheimer patient is told to brush their teeth with a non-dominant hand, do crossword puzzles, read, etc. Computers require perpetual software upgrades, but the God-given supercomputer the human mind merely has to read a book to gain neuropathways and knowledge. Moreover, there is no risk of being hacked.
Further, there is a genuine risk of having one’s life extinguished if an implant is in the brain which is the command center of the spinal column, motor skills, and body functions. Imagine a hacker determining what your unique or identifying code is and introducing malware, a virus, or “turning you off” by ceasing cardio respiratory function.
Daniel 2:43, And where as thou sawest iron mixed with clay and earth, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not join one with another, as iron can not be mixed with clay. Revelation 9:5-6, And to them was commanded that they should not kill them, but that they should be vexed five months, and that their pain should be as the pain that cometh of a scorpion, when he hath stung a man. Therefore in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it, and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
Consider Jesus told us that the last days will be like the days of Noah, when, as a result of Genesis 6, giants walked the earth killing and consuming mankind. People were mingling their DNA with fallen angels in order to receive technology and for their children to wed and reproduce creating freaks of nature even the animal and plant kingdom were genetically corrupted. It is historically recorded that the only proven way to kill a giant was to remove it’s head as they appear to have had some kind of regenerating ability. A being that is half angel and half human is capable of abilities that would be considered super human, if men then go a step further and mingle themselves with computers (iron) might this be why “death flees from them?”
Death never flees from a person seeking to die as anyone who has thrown themselves off a bridge sadly discovered. As we progress through the latter days we will learn what Jesus meant by that warning.
Lastly, those who hold trans-humanist beliefs are not anthroprocentric a fancy word for denying that mankind is the pinnacle of God’s creation given by Him dominion over the earth, sea, and is an image bearer of Almighty God their creator. If you listen closely you can almost hear the lying, split tongue of the Dragon hissing out his hatred for humanity.
