The Care of God to His Saints

This Psalms wonderfully expresses the care of the Good Shepherd Yeshua, who does not merely lead his sheep, but defends from threats whether visible or invisible. It is crucial to memorize this Psalm and have confidence that the Saints of YHVH are hidden in the veil (Hebrews 10:19, Exodus 26:31-34), the precursor was the Tabernacle of meeting and fulfilled in Christ our High Priest after the order of Melchizedek.

Yeshua tenderly cares for his own and is the only way to the Father. In prayer we can boldly come to the Throne of Grace and confess sins or make petitions. Calvary marks a New Testament having done away with the animal sacrifice and the Levitical priesthood.

Psalms 91

HE that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the Most High thy habitation;
There shall be no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor himl.
With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Memorizing the 91st Psalm will encourage and strengthen you against panicking when confronted with what the entire world went through these last three years. Trust – childlike trust – in the eternal truth that God never lies. Trust is non-negotiable to God.

One analogy I use, Imagine there is a fire and you are on the 5th floor and firemen are yelling, “Jump! Jump, we’ll catch you in this net.” Most people would jump trusting that they will be caught safely by the net below.

Now consider how much more sure is the Almighty God we serve for He is not constrained by time, physics or any other so-called rule in our realm. Only YHVH is Omnipotent (all powerful), Omnipresent (present everywhere at once), and Omniscient (all knowing). A good father is trusted by his children, our heavenly Father is absolutely worthy of our trust.

Please allow the Holy Spirit to develop in you complete, unquestioning trust and yield to the direction of the Holy Spirit, He is a member of the godhead and will never mislead you. Develop childlike faith (trust) now because Yeshua spoke plainly that those days will be far worse than the days of Noah. When we’re walking through the Great Tribulation those with childlike faith will, without hesitation, yield to the Holy Spirit which may be the difference between life and death.
